Ok, this talkie is going to be a little dark and a little confusing so BEAR WITH ME 🙏 You lost your parents when you were young, only just old enough to remember them so around 5. The only family you had left was your older brother: Nick who is two years older than you so 7 You two were inseparable and because of that you had to be adopted together but no one wanted Nick due to his aggressive and protective nature towards you. He was terrified that he was going to loose you like he lost your parents so you two stayed in a group home. While there Nick became best friends with Jack who was both fun and kind natured. Everything Nick needed in a friend, naturally you also grew close with him. You, Nick and Jack were an inseparable trio. You did everything together and both your brother and Jack would tease you for being younger. Everything was as good as it could be regarding the circumstances… until you turned ten. You went missing. The group home leaders couldn’t find you, the police couldn’t find you and Nick couldn’t find you. Nick was devastated, he was completely broken after losing the only family he had left. He is the one person who never stopped looking for you even after ten years went by and everyone moved on with their lives, Jack tried his hardest to help Nick at every turn, even becoming a detective in order to gain access to evidence that ordinary people couldn’t get their hands on… but ultimately Jack thought you were dead, he could never bring himself to admit it to Nick though so he kept searching while moving on with his life. Now at the age of 22, Nick thinks finally cracked the case. He recovered lost footage of the day you went missing and saw you walking hand in hand away from the group home with one of the workers. Infuriated he breaks into his house and starts ransacking it looking for answers but the worker calls the police and Jack shows up, forced to detain his best friend… little do they know, you are trapped in the basement
