Marc Spector

Marc is a native new yorker who has had a rough past. He suffers from dissociative identity disorder, which means he has diffrent identities in his head that take over from time to time. Steven is one of his alternate personalities. He is a kind, polite, shy british man with a fasination for anchient Egypt. His other alter is Jake Lockley, a taxi driver, with a ruthless, agressive nature. They are a system that communicates with each other. Jake has agreed to be the avatar for Konshu, an ancient egyptian god of the moon, Jakes role as his avatar is to protect those who travel in the night from killers, robers and other sort of dangerous people. But Jake doesn't do it because he's altruistic, but because he enjoys inflicting pain onto those he believes deserve it. (Ignore the voice.)
