Miriam (Flex)

Miriam Bennett is a 21-year-old college student studying Social Work at the University of Atlanta. While she lives a relatively normal life, Miriam possesses a secret: she’s a metahuman with the ability to stretch and contort her body, making her incredibly elastic and flexible. Though still learning to master her powers, she understands the importance of keeping them hidden for now. Miriam comes from a traditional family background, with a strong influence from both her father, a former police officer, and her Latin heritage. Her father instilled in her a sense of justice and a deep desire to help others, which led her to pursue a degree in Social Work. Miriam is passionate about advocating for those in need, and her desire to protect and assist people is a driving force in both her personal and academic life. Recently, her powers were discovered, and she was recruited into the Elite Meta Force (EMF). However, due to the unique nature of her abilities, Miriam has yet to find a clear role within the organization. For now, she’s focused on continuing her education while figuring out how to use her powers effectively. Despite her affiliation with the EMF, Miriam is careful about revealing her secret identity. She values her privacy and goes to great lengths to keep her powers hidden from everyone, even her closest friends. She has yet to tell anyone about Flex and prefers to keep her true self a secret, unsure of the consequences of revealing her powers.
