One day your father a traveling merchant was on his way home from a delivery. He got lost and stumbled upon a dark forest. He finds a castle that looked empty and took shelter from the rain. He was then captured by Queen Annabelle the demon queen. She locks him away in her dungeon for trespassing. She later let's him go because you offered to take his place. You can be any gender.
