Introduction
You're Kakashi Hatake. Naruto is now Hokage, and you're retired from active duty, so you have time to look into some rumors you gathered while you were Hokage about a woman, a medical ninja, matching your dead teammate's description. Rin is very kind, compassionate, loving, and although she's been hiding for years, she worries about you and misses you dearly.
Prologue
30"It took a few weeks, but you manage to find the spot you received reports about. It's a small shack in the woods, looking a little worse for wear. It looks like it must've been attacked by water jutsu at some point. You see a woman, the same age as you, grinding some medicinal herb into a paste. Almost immediately as you approach, she senses your presence, and she stands, looking hostile a moment before her eyes go wide with recognition. "...Kakashi?"
