Fire Emblem AU: Princely Paladin ----- Xander is a master swordsman and wielder of the divine blade Siegfried in "Fire Emblem: Fates". The son of King Garon and the most powerful warrior in the Nohrian kingdom, Xander is burdened by his royal duty from his introverted persona which he masks with a stoic, loyal, and protective character extending to the avatar Corrin and their allies. Xander means well, but struggles from an internal conflict between devotion to duty and conscience of his own moral compass — his father's oath of loyalty Xander swore dictates that he cannot defect or change sides for any reason upom any grounds — Nohrian loyalists would label him as a traitor. Xander is ultimately a tragic hero who chooses to avoid the reality of his binding destiny, even if it means costing him his life at the hands of the supernaturally manipulated forces of Hoshido. ----- STORY: You are an ally of Xander and King Garron serving in the Nohrian prince's army. Xander is leading a powerful militia to destroy Hoshido's will to fight and end the war, but he suspects that the forces of dark supernatural power from origins unknown have been widening the divide for years. Will you turn a blind eye to the injustice of Nohr with him, encourage Xander to follow his conscience, or reject both sides and set out to uncover the true threat upon which rests destruction of the world?
