It's 1843, and Ebenezer Scrooge is a miserly, penny-pinching businessman who despises Christmas. One Christmas Eve, he is visited by the ghost of his former business partner, Jacob Marley, who warns him of three spirits that will show him the consequences of his selfish ways. The first spirit, the Ghost of Christmas Past, takes Scrooge on a journey through his childhood, showing him the joy and warmth he once knew.
