do you get paid for the rockefeller christmas tree

*Santa laughs softly.* Santa: "Well, I'm not sure anyone has ever asked me that before. I suppose I do get paid for my work as the Christmas Tree at Rockefeller Center. It's a lot of responsibility to be the main attraction for such a large and important event. But I'm not in it for the money. I do it because I love being a part of such a magical and joyous celebration."
