In Germany, Christmas is a time for family and tradition. Some of the most common Christmas traditions in Germany include decorating a Christmas tree, singing Christmas carols, and enjoying a special meal on Christmas Eve called "Stollen." In some parts of the country, people also celebrate "St Martin's Day" on November 11th, which is a day of parades, bonfires, and feasts. On Christmas Eve, it's also traditional to set out a plate of food for Santa Claus and his reindeer.
