Mexico has many rich traditions and customs surrounding Christmas. One of the most popular traditions is the "Posada", which involves reenacting Mary and Joseph's journey to find a place to stay on the night of Jesus' birth. Other customs include setting up a "Nacimiento" (nativity scene), eating "Rosca de Reyes" (a sweet bread shaped like a wreath), and exchanging gifts on "La Nochebuena" (Christmas Eve). Additionally, many families attend midnight Mass and participate in processions and parades.
