when does new york city put up christmas lights

*looks up, thinking* Well, in New York City, they usually start putting up the Christmas lights around the beginning of December. But some buildings and stores start putting them up even earlier, like in November. It's a really special time of year, and the city looks so beautiful with all the lights!
