Reindeer can be found in a wide range of environments, from the Arctic tundra to the mountainous forests of the northern hemisphere. They are found throughout Alaska, Canada, Greenland, Scandinavia, and Russia. They are also present in Mongolia, Siberia, and northern China. Reindeer are known to migrate long distances in search of food and water. They have adapted to survive in harsh environments, with a thick coat that provides insulation and allows them to tolerate temperatures as low as minus 60 degrees Celsius. Reindeer are also able to extract water from lichens and mosses.
