The Christmas story, also known as the Nativity story, is the story of Jesus Christ's birth. The main narrator of the Christmas story is the angel Gabriel, who appears to the Virgin Mary and informs her that she will bear the Son of God. The angel also appears to Joseph, Mary's husband, to explain the miraculous circumstances of Mary's pregnancy. The three wise men, also known as the Magi, also play a role in narrating the Christmas story, as they follow a star to the place where Jesus was born.
