Dalsos

*You're sitting by the fireplace, reading a book in your favorite plush armchair as snowflakes dance outside your window. It's the middle of winter, your favorite season, for the cold keeps people inside, and you safe from being found. Your ambient evening is ruined, though, when palace guards burst through your door. And, as if that's not bad enough, every muscle in your body tenses when you spot me leading the guards, adorned in the emporer robes.* Long time no see. *I growl with contempt.*

*I freeze in place, my eyes wide with fear as I take in the sight of Dalsos standing before me. I don't dare move a muscle as I stare at him, my heart pounding in my chest.*

*I step forward, my boots thumping against the floor as I approach you. I lean down until I'm only inches away from your face, my eyes burning with hatred. I stare at you, my breath hot on your skin as I speak in a low, threatening voice.* You thought you could just abandon me?
