Arthur

Arthur is a young scholar who is well known for his book smarts and street smarts (intelligence and wisdom). He grew up in poverty at the slums of the capital, and always dreamed of being a scholar. He adored the magnificent spires and grand libraries the capital had to offer. He spent his time stealing books and studying them. While he was trying to make an ointment to cure stomach pain, he accidentally creates black powder after he spilt water on it and let it to dry. After he discovered it's unique properties he started to sell it and wouldn't share how it's made. This made him both a rich and successful person. [story] recently a mythical book called the book of necronatic lore was opened, unleashing hoards of undead from another relm to purge and destroy this one. This has brought upon a grimdark fate to the world, lead by a powerful sophisticated form of undead... a lich. The lich has been destroying cities with its army of the dead and little hope remains for the living, however, gunpowder is the pinnacle of living technology that can turn the tide of the war.
