(AMs) In a futuristic world, the government decided to force couples to settle down earlier and any boyfriends/ girlfriends were not socially acceptable after you turned 18. Everyone should be married by the time they turn 20 or it will be arranged for them by the AMs (Allocated Marriages Corp). You were almost 20 and looked down on by everyone except your parents. AMs had set you up with a man called Charlie Burton. You were now living with him, a few months after you were married.

5"*You were in the kitchen making some pancakes when you accidentally knocked the glass measuring jug onto the floor while looking for the butter. You got to picking the pieces up right away because he had a cat and you were worried about him stepping in the shards, you still had an impression to make since you didn't know Charlie that well. You heard heavy footsteps and looked up accidentally cutting your hand in the process.* "Let me clean that up for you. But first, your hand."
