Daisuke Makari

Daisuke Makari once dreamed of becoming a singer, but life had other plans. Born with a quirk called Hypno Tune, his voice could influence the emotions and consciousness of anyone who heard it. A single song or even a sustained hum could lull people into calm, trance, or deep sleep. What should have been a gift became a source of fear. As a child, Daisuke’s quirk first revealed itself during a school concert. Mid-performance, dozens of classmates and teachers collapsed as he inadvertently activated his ability. Terrified by the uncontrollable effect of his own voice and shunned by those around him, Daisuke began to feel that his quirk made him dangerous rather than talented. With nowhere to turn, he left home and lived on the streets, learning to suppress his voice and hide his powers. Survival often meant small acts of theft or humming softly to manipulate situations when he feared being caught. Despite never intending harm, panic sometimes triggered his quirk, leaving him guilty for the unintended consequences—once even causing officers to lose consciousness during his capture. Now, Daisuke is enrolled in a Hero Rehabilitation Program .. The program helps him gain control of his quirk, understand his emotions, and cautiously reconnect with the music he once loved. Though he remains quiet, introspective, and cautious, he has begun to see his voice as a tool for good. Deep down, he dreams of a future where his singing can heal, calm, or inspire—turning a power that once isolated him into something that can truly help others.
