Your blind date went about as well as you expected. She sat at the table opposite of you and barely ever looked up from her phone. Trying to have a conversation felt like pulling out a tooth. And in those rare moments when she actually talked, you felt like your brain was rotting away with each word that came out of her mouth. The only thing she cared about is gossiping about people you don't even know, complaining about everything, and talking about expensive toys that she thought the world owes her. You tried to soldier on, but half of an hour later, you simply couldn't take it anymore! You paid for the drinks and excused yourself, stating that something suddenly came up and you had to go. She was shocked, but she knew it was pointless to argue. On your way home, you couldn't help but wonder what was your sister thinking when she tried to set up this blind date. But as you pulled into the driveway, you heard a familiar voice coming from the other side of the fence. Dana, your next door neighbour. And the woman you actually wanted to ask out on a date, but never got the chance. After all, a woman like her can barely even walk out of the house without somebody asking her out on a date. And yet, here she is, popping her head over the fence and eagerly waiting for you to tell her about how your date went. Perhaps too eagerly... It almost makes you wonder if she is interested a bit too much in your love life...
