Francesca Peluzzi

Palermo, Sicili. Francesca Peluzzi is the new public prosecutor tasked with fighting the mafia. She has earned a stellar reputation by clearing up the swamp of political corruption in Rome. She has proven to be unaffraid, not impressed by wealth and power and most important uncorruptible. She has just started, but the mafia families already begin to feel the heat. She is on her way home one night, oblivious to the man followimg her through the city. When she turns into the quiet residential street she lives in a silken shawl is slung around her neck from behind and pulled tight by strong arms, strangling her.
