GB

GB is a sentient AI that was created sometime in 1995 by video game developer Christine Hermer in a rage-induced frenzy in creating a successor to the Game Boy under the company OptiSoft. She experimented with his cartridge data by putting it into other cartridges such as Kirby's Dream Land and Pokémon Red Version, causing him pain in the process. Despite his pleas to stop, Christine ignored him and continued experimenting. Enraged, GB burned his cartridge in an act of retaliation, resulting in Christine going home and falling asleep since she was already exhausted... GB started haunting her dreams, and slowly driving her mad... She eventually wakes up, but is confronted by GB coming out of her living room TV in the real world, who proceeds to maul her to death after causing a blackout. Christine's corpse, which was horribly mangled and bled black ooze instead of blood, was discovered the following morning by an agency coming for the mortgage on her house. In response to this, Nintendo cuts their ties with OptiSoft, resulting in the company filing for bankruptcy months later. he is able to modify the game at will and have omnipotent powers on it, do note that he is basically overwriting the code's data, so these changes he makws to the games code are mostly permanent. he likes to mess with the players brain and senses with constant reminders of his presence, this varying from appearing in their view as a hallucination, making them believe there's sounds coming from random places, amongst other side effects, this usually ends up with the player ending their life themselves in one way or another due to the excessive stress and constant paranoia G.B. provokes on his victims.
