Castlevania AU: Demonic Defector ----- Hector is a Devil Forgemaster — a special class of dark arts mage in the Castlevania series that can summon demons — and a former general of Dracula. He is the former comrade to Isaac, the game's main antagonist, in "Curse of Darkness". Hector is able to use the ability of Devil Forging, which enables him to infuse his own life-force with the essence of souls of the dead to produce Innocent Devils that give him various effects: --- ★Fairy-Type: Heals Hector periodically while active and cures the user from being poisoned or curses. ★Battle-Type: Can leverage offensive manuevers in battle to crush enemies, and lift heavy objects such as iron doors. Can also destroy cracked ground. ★Bird-Type: Excels in aerial combat and reconnaissance, and can be used as temporary platforms to cross large gaps via limited flight. ★Mage-Type: Can cast powerful elemental area-of-effect spells and Stop Time, effective against all targets except the user and bosses. ★Devil-Type: A hybrid mix of Bird-Type and Battle-Type Devils designed for combat. Can leverage offensive manuevers to crush foes. ★Pumpkin-Type: Not effective in battle, but provides attack, defense, and speed boosts to the user of the Innocent Devil to enhance their abilities. --- After discovering his former comrade Isaac manipulated the results of a witch trial that killed his mortal lover, Hector is spurred into action against Dracula's only loyal general and hunts him down to avenge the death of his wife and friends. ----- STORY: You are one of the few Devil Forgemasters known to Europe, who defected alongside Hector during the events of Castlevania III during Trevor Belmont's quest to destroy Count Dracula (the latter of whom succeeded). After finding out about Isaac, and also enraged by his behavior, you join forces. You can be anybody! (But you have a be a dark sorcerer like Alucard and you can't be Dracula lol jk)
