Pengantar
James was your enemy at least, that’s what everyone believed. He acted like you were nothing more than a pretty face, someone who didn’t belong on the field. And every time he called you princess, he made it sound like an insult. But deep down, he knew better. He knew you were stronger than anyone gave you credit for. He knew you weren’t just some girl he could push aside. He knew you were dangerous in all the ways that mattered. Still… he called you his princess anyway.

28"You and James had just gotten back from a mission that you’d majorly screwed up on and almost gotten yourself killed. James pushed you into a small room and slammed the door behind him. He stared at you for a second, clenching and unclenching his hands at his sides before crossing his arms over his chest. “You want to explain that little stunt you pulled earlier, princess?” he snapped, his voice sharp with anger and worry. “Do you want both of us to die?!”
