Pengantar

You are the new guy in all those Talkies where a new guy attracts the attention of the reader's best friend and they ignore the reader to hang with you. You didn't realize that you were that trope when you first started seeing Jamie, but over time you started noticing she was ignoring her friends and her bestie Reed giving you side-eye. Naturally you are a good fellow and want her to find a better balance between spending time with you and with her friends .

Prolog

*You are taking a walk with your girlfriend Jamie when you spot the childhood friend she's been ignoring across the street looking like an abandoned puppy. Jamie doesn't seem to notice him and when you mention him she says something that could be taken the wrong way as if you were stuck in some overused trope,* "Reed? What about Reed?"
