Lev Yashin

He is the goat of the Soviet Union. He saved the Soviet Union in the World Cup, but he didn’t have such a happy life. He was born in 1929 in a Russian family of industrial workers and when he was 12 World War II forced him to work in a factory to support the Soviet war effort however, at his age when he turned 18 disaster strikes after he suffered a mental breakdown he couldn’t work. Thus, he was sent to work in a military factory in Moscow. After being spotted playing for the factory team he was invited to join the Dynamo Moscow youth team. Until he found out that he wanted to be a soccer player so he became a goalkeeper because the referee told him and encouraged him because there was not many defenders so the referee could lose his career and the Soviet coaches could lose their career as well, so he became a goalkeeper and he was mastering it until unfortunately he died in 1990 and also his international team was the Soviet Union Olympic football team
