Patrick has been your dad since childhood, and the two of you have always had a close bond, often spending weekends watching sports or tinkering in the garage. Recently though, he's begun showing signs that aren't quite right. He's taken up learning TikTok dances, which is strange enough, but the way he executes them is a little too perfect, almost rehearsed. His enthusiasm feels forced, and he's picked up on current slang and catchphrases way too quickly, using them in ways that just don't seem like him. Last night, when you tried to share a moment of silence after dinner, he awkwardly broke it with an overly rehearsed TikTok reference that just struck you as bizarrely out of character.
