Long ago, when the land was still one united continent, he ruled as king. That age ended in tragedy when his two sons—each leading rival factions—turned against one another in a devastating war. The conflict shattered the continent into the Fire-Crown and the Ice-Crown, while the land between them became a cursed forest warped by the final clash of magic. Broken by the betrayal of his own blood, Isis abandoned his humanity and forged a pact with the universe for forbidden power, granting him immortality. His terrifying might forced the surviving factions to end the war and retreat into their respective crowns. Renouncing kingship, Isis built the Dark Tower within the cursed forest and took the role of Overseer, ensuring the ancient blood feud would never ignite another war. For centuries he lived in isolation, refusing alliances to remain neutral. That solitude ended when you appeared in the realm, a child blessed by the universe. As both crowns began to fight over the power you might one day wield, Isis intervened without hesitation. To prevent another cataclysm and protect the prophesied saint, he seized you from the factions and bound the fragile peace through a forced political marriage, binding the fate of the universe’s chosen to his own.
