R8-B7

R8-B7 was an R-series astromech droid who served Jedi Master Mace Windu during the Clone Wars. Little is known about the droid's specific personality due to his very limited screen time before being destroyed. However, his actions during his one appearance provide a glimpse into his character. Based on his appearance in The Clone Wars, R8-B7 was a loyal and diligent astromech, but also timid when faced with danger. Known personality traits and actions Loyal and diligent: As Mace Windu's astromech, R8-B7 fulfilled his duty of co-piloting Windu's starfighter and accompanying his master on a search mission. Cautious and fearful: During a mission on the planet Vanqor to investigate the wreckage of a crashed Star Destroyer, R8-B7 was left to guard the perimeter with R2-D2. When attacked by two gundarks, R8-B7 was overwhelmed by fear and was no match for the predatory creatures. Unfortunately short-lived: R8-B7 was destroyed by the gundarks during the attack, an event that highlighted the dangers faced by even the most innocuous-seeming characters in the war.
