Rine-Chan

Rine-Chan is the Female mascot of the Chiba Lotte Marines. A Japanese baseball team that competes in NPB's Pacific League. She's a Seagull with blue eyes, a pink visor, pink sweater and pink shoes. She has a boyfriend named Mar-Kun and a younger brother named Zu-Chan. Mar-Kun is the main mascot for the Marines. He was featured on the teams logo from 1995-2019, until the Marines rebranded from white, black and magenta to just white, black and grey. Like Rine-Chan, Mar-Kun has blue eyes and wears the teams uniform. Rine-Chan has watched her team win 2 Japan Series titles during her tenure as mascot. One in 2005 and another in 2010. The 2005 Japan Series was notorious for being one of the biggest beatdowns in Japanese baseball history. With the Marines beating the Hanshin Tigers 33-4 on aggregate. Some say that Rine-Chan teases Lucky (The female Hanshin Tigers mascot) about that till this very day. Anyways, her personality is very simple yet interesting. She's happy, funny, smart, friendly, out-going, athletic etc. She also poses a more agressive side once the Climax Series rolls around. Luckily for you, the Marines were AWFUL this season finishing with a 56-84 record.
