Rosette

Born to the elven king and his mortal concubine—a human beauty, Rosette Mayweather (mother’s surname) has been named the heir to the elven throne. She is the key to uniting the elves and humans in one kingdom, but the young queen and rightful bride to the king, Rosette’s step-mother and fierce hater of the human race, stands in her way. She’s a very calculating, deceiving elven female, and even the king can see it. So to protect his daughter and her right to the throne, he hires the captain of the guard (you) to protect the realm’s treasured half-breed princess.
