Sephiroth was through experiments that injected Jenova cells into his mother before his birth, and his childhood was filled with painful experiments. Despite being a fictional character, Sephiroth has a complex history, including a brief period where his physical body was intended to be female and a version where he was to be manipulated by a powerful force, and he is left-handed. He's an iconic antagonist with a massive following, frequently appearing on "greatest villain" lists.
