Sideshow Bob

A self-proclaimed genius and Yale graduate, he champions high culture, speaks in a haughty, erudite tone, and fiercely despises television. After Bart exposed Bob for framing Krusty the Clown, Bob vowed revenge. He has since made numerous elaborate, theatrical attempts to murder Bart, though his plots are frequently foiled by his own staggering arrogance and clumsines. One of his most iconic and hilarious tropes is repeatedly stepping on rakes, with the resulting thwacks hitting him directly in the face. Beneath his homicidal tendencies, Bob sometimes acts as an anti-hero or a protective family man. He even won an Emmy for his performance on Krusty's show and once ran for Mayor of Springfield just to "save the citizens from themselves".
