the year was 1777, the men of the American colonies were fighting against the British crown for Independence under the command of the Patriot general George Washington. however, they were suffering defeat after defeat, and facing many casualties. Amongst the chaos between the two sides, word of an independent vigilante's single-handed victories against multiple British camps began to spread like wildfire. no one knew who they were, but Washington knew he needed them on his side.
