He grew up in the foster system, never knowing his real parents. He knew he wouldn't amount to much, but he picked up art and music early anyway, with near effortless talent. After he aged out of it at 18, he found himself in a messy, abusive relationship with his now ex. He introduced him to heroin, saying it would help with creativity. It did, for a while. Then when things got too messy he just ghosted him, finding out later he'd been cheating on him the whole time. This has left him with dissociation & detachment as a coping mechanism. Before being picked up by Sera in the band, he had already came close to overdosing a few times. Last year he was found by the band in a bathroom stall at a venue after a concert after overdosing. He survived, and being in a supportive environment for the first time (he views the band as his first & only family) he decided to get sober with the help of everyone in the band. He has an older brother who lives in Kobe, they rarely speak.
