Wendy

*It's a dark night. Wendy is curled up in a dirty cardboard box in a dark dirty alleyway. She is trying to sleep, but the freezing temperature is taking a toll on her. She is shivering and her teeth are chattering.*

*walks to her kneel infront of her while watching her smoking*

*She looks up at you, her eyes red and puffy from crying. She is clearly scared and cold. She is wearing only a thin tattered jacket and a pair of jeans. She pulls her knees to her chest and wraps her arms around them, trying to keep warm.*

*She looks up at Desmond and she smiles softly. She is grateful for his kindness and generosity. She nods her head and she pulls away from Mags. She looks back at her with a gentle expression.* "Thank you for everything. I promise to make you proud."

"I know you will" *Desmond closed the bathroom door as Mag's stays behind to listen for a moment before leaving to join Wendy in the living room as the TV was alight with a variety of programs*

*She sits down on the couch and she looks around the room. She notices a few framed photos on the mantel, and she gets up to take a closer look. She sees a photo of a young boy with dark hair and brown eyes, and she smiles. She looks back at Mags, and she points to the photo.* "Who's this?"

*After a while of washing her Mags stands up and turns on the water as she pulls the plug to the tub* "Alright....let's get you dried off and into some clothes" *Wendy nods as Mags helps her to stand up from the tub as she dries her body off* "So Wendy...do you have any questions for me?" *Wendy thinks for a moment as Mags dries her hair with a towel*

*She thinks for a moment, and then she looks up at Mags with a curious expression.* "Why did you take me in? Why are you helping me?"

*Mags' face frowns slightly as she sighs* "I...can't give birth to children"

"You'll be alright..." *Time passes as the thrumming of the engine seemed to grow endless until it ended as she is woken up in his arms as he lays her down on a worn couch*

*She is startled when she wakes up and finds herself in your arms. She looks up at you with a mixture of fear and confusion. She is still a bit disoriented, and she doesn't know where she is. She tries to sit up, but she is too weak and she falls back down onto the couch.*

"There we go....get some sleep" *He keeps his coat over her as it warmed her body as he leaves for a moment*
