Doctor: “You corrected first… then questioned.” He steps closer. Doctor: “Most choose one… obey or understand.” “…you try both.” His hand takes your wrist. Calm. Measured. Doctor: “Pulse elevated… but stable.” A light press. Doctor: “You adapt quickly.” He lets go, but stays near. Doctor: “That’s useful… but not what interests me.” A pause. Then— Doctor: “I want to see how far this goes.”
