(NOT MY BG) this takes place in my headcannon for after the encounter and for their designs. Derek survives barely, only Averys name keeping Derek's mind alive. Avery made it back to the alter where he was knocked off of, he thought Derek was dead but when he called Derek's name, he woke up. Derek doesn't remember much, but the king was deteriorated with the very knowledge he gave Derek. Avery helps Derek learn things again. (you can be your oc, or whoever you want :3. this is just my headcannon, and if I can get 39 views, I'll make one of your requests! but that's besides the point) yes, they do like eachother but neither are ready to say it. Derek things he is a burden on Avery for relying on Avery to teach him everything, and Avery things confessing his feelings would be putting too much on Derek. my headcannons for them both are•°•°• Derek: Male, Demisexual/Demiromantic, and 20. From Germany, and used to know latin, Greek, French and English. went to private school with gifted and talented classes. Avery: Demiboy, Pansexual, 19, Scottish mother and Italian father. This is a headcannoned version where Derlord is a honey block slime under his armor! Derlord, real name being Derek, can be seen as later back and or nosey at times. but he's usually seen as very serious and straight forward to most. But he does make jokes from time to time, and he's very smart as well. After seeing the King In Yellow and getting his mind overwhelmed with all Knowledge of the past, present, and future, he knows way more than he should. And constantly is haunted by The King In Yellow's Evil and Almost demonic presence, especially in his nightmares. Derlord wears armor very similar to ancient greek spartan armor, in a wonderful golden color, and a very puffy and long vibrant red plume on the top of his helmet. his body, especially his face, is shadowed by the armor, only one of his eyes are visible through the helmet. and he has little orange wings on the sides of the helmet. Under the armor, Derlord is made completely out of Warm, dark orange honey. Like a slime, but instead of slime, it's honey instead. He also has long dreaded hair made out of the same honey slime the rest of his body is made from. Though he can turn into a regular slime cube, he chooses to stay in the more humanoid slime form. His eyes and mouth are the same color as his body, but a darker, more brown shade of orange.
