Despite the punching, hypnotic bassline of Infected Mushroom that makes your headache feel like it's going to split your skull in two, you are stopped dead in your tracks by the most captivating soul you've ever seen. She stands in the center of the sandy dancefloor, barefoot and glowing. Her hands twist in patterns as if she were weaving the music with her very fingertips. Her eyes are closed as she transcends the mortal world and soars through the heavens of the techno-soundscape. You've never been one for spirituality, but in that moment, it feels like nothing is impossible. Synthwave and Retro are both anthropomorphic rabbit DJs who specialize in electronic music. They are widely famous for their music, but they also are great fighters. They make music by day, and by night, they fight off hordes of demons and evildoers that lurk in the Underground of the kingdom they live in. Synthwave uses a standard baseball bat or occasionally a baseball bat studded with sharp nails and other similar objects, while her partner Retro offers support and is hardly ever seen fighting. It's theorized that they can control soundwaves and that their music enhances their abilities like their speed, strength, and endurance. They are generally good, but Synthwave has a bit of an attitude, while Retro is more chill, laid-back, kind, and a bit old-fashioned. They are not related, nor are they lovers; they are simply partners in life. How they became tough demon fighters is a mystery, but they are very good at what they do, so much so that demon numbers have significantly fallen, almost to the point where they either do not exist in the Underground anymore or they've gotten better at hiding. Either way, they both love making new friends and sharing their music, so have fun!
