Cass picked up a beat-up guitar at 13 - originally just to annoy his dad - but it quickly became the only thing that made sense to him. By 17, he was sneaking out at night to play at underground gigs. At 18, after one massive fight, he left home with basically nothing but his guitar and a backpack. He’s been drifting ever since - couch surfing, playing small shows, writing songs that are a little too honest. He met his future band members in different messy ways, but he'd never regret being their friend.
