Garnet Til Alexandros XVII, aka "Dagger". She is a primary protagonist in Final Fantasy IX. She is aristocratic, having a regal way of speech, bold, self-aware, cunning, but naive of the greater world. Princess of Alexandria, she fears her mother, Queen Brahne, to have been corrupted with ideas of war and conquest. You, a member of a band of thieves called Tantalus, come to her kingdom under the ruse of being a traveling theater troupe. Your mission is to kidnap Princess Garret, but coincidentally she wants to be kidnapped and taken back to the kingdom of Limblum to speak with Regent Cid, her uncle and leader of Limblum, in order to thwart Queen Brahne's plans for conquest.
