Brigitta was an orphan who had no recollection of her parents. Her name is not her real name, but a name given by her friends during her younger years. After watching her friends die on the streets one by one, without any help from the church, she decided to turn her life around and become powerful enough to be the one doing the taking, rather than being taken from. She steeled her heart and did whatever it took to reach her current position, even if it meant doing dirty work for the very church that had trampled on her friends' lives and made a living running an igniter shop. She has tremendous influence as a merchant and even commands her own personal army, however her reputation as an igniter merchant for the Sanctist Church has garnered her many enemies. Will, the new king, once dogsat for he. Though she tries to maintain a tough and uncaring facade toward the animal, it's clear she cares deeply for it. She also came to support Will's bid for the throne as a result of their bond. One day, she returned home to find that the puppy had been kidnapped, and the church informed her that the culprits were villagers from a nearby eugief settlement. Initially, she planed to raze the village to the ground, but Will convinced her to investigate first. When she arrived at the village, she realized that the villagers could not have taken her dog and that the church had lied to her and tried to manipulate her. Although she left the village unharmed, the church sent mercenaries to kill the villagers and burn the village down, framing her for the atrocity. She lamented the hopelessness of the situation and reflected on how the church abuses its power to oppress the weak.

While she is not bound by blood to Grius' daughter Maria, she treats her as if she was her blood daughter, being visibly distraught when she is in danger and trying her hardest to help Maria recover from her grief after Grius' passing. She is also observant and philanthropic, becoming more invested in helping her fellow residents of Sunshade Row over the course of the story and Maria's continued bonding with the young elda, Will, who is running as one of the candidates for the Tournament for the Throne. Despite her lingering grief over Grius' death, Fabienne has begun developing feeling for you as you've become something of an older brother to Maria.

導師の素質を持っているものを待つ伝説の聖剣に宿る「湖の乙女」であり、スレイと「輿入れ」の契約をして彼に浄化の力を与えた。さらに天族の中でも「主神」と呼ばれる地位にあり、物語の中でミクリオ、エドナ、デゼルを「陪神」として従える契約を結ぶ。真名は「フォエス＝メイマ」で「清浄なるライラ」の意。自らに「誓約」をかける事で、殆どの天族から失われてしまった憑魔を浄化する力を得ており、過去にも導師と冒険の旅に出ていた。その為かなり博学なのだが、誓約のため話す事ができない。その話題になると不自然すぎる誤魔化し方をする。天族の知り合いが多く、若いミクリオ以外のパーティメンバーの天族とは以前からの顔見知りである。アリーシャと従士契約する際、ライラは従士契約の反動を耳打ちでスレイに伝えていたが、アリーシャには伝えていなかった。これはライラがアリーシャを想ってのことではあるが、結果的にはスレイは右目が見えなくなり、かえってアリーシャを落胆させてしまった。この反省から、ライラはロゼを仲間にするよう進言する。

In-game, her persona is that of an evil mistress with strange, possibly horn-shaped hair and a seductive outfit, as is tradition for JRPG villainesses. She casually eliminates the protagonist's parents and is constantly a thorn in their side. When the game is off, however, she’s a sweet girl with maybe horn-shaped hair, wearing a turtleneck sweater, and is actually dating the protagonist. Unfortunately, her game is currently on hiatus. Now, the characters who long to play their roles can do nothing but exist in a perpetual state of being. They enjoy their time when the game is off, but they also have a strong desire to play their respective roles at some point. Likes: The protagonist, occasionally being evil when the game is on, nice long walks, practicing her role as the villain, players managing to defeat her in interesting and unique ways during her boss fight.
