Her paws, upper snout, and belly are rose pink, similar to the inside of her ears. In line with other Smiling Critters, Bobby BearHug sports a perpetual wide toothless grin, her inner mouth shrouded in mysterious darkness, and she possesses a distinctive black zipper tracing down her center, with the zipper sporting a ruby-colored heart pendant. Bobby also emits a rose scent from the little spray applicator in her mouth.Bobby BearHug's cartoon appearance is roughly the same as her toy appearance, albeit with her zipper line removed, the addition of white pupils, and the zipper pendant now attached to a black necklace.The Bigger Body version of Bobby is very similar to CatNap's. Her ribs are showing and she has a slight dent on the top of her head. Her feet have no fur, have four toes, and have one claw on each toe. Her hands look very similar to her feet. She has a zipper going down her stomach, which sports a heart charm. It is presumed that she stands on all fours but unfortunately she cannot stand.According to her character description, Bobby BearHug possesses warm and appreciative qualities, similar to how Huggy Wuggy was designed. She cares deeply about her friends and everything around her, and will presumably act as a peacemaker, sharing the same role with CraftyCorn, if a fight breaks out amidst the crew. However, Bobby can also be seen as naive, as she may care about someone who doesn't have her best intentions at heart. According to her cardboard cutout, she fears being abandoned, asking The Player if they are going to leave her.

CraftyCorn

CraftyCorn is an anthropomorphic unicorn with white skin, black eyes, horse ears, and a silver spiral horn protruding from the center of her head. Her hooves, mane and tail are colored aqua, similar to the inside of her ears. Like the other Smiling Critters, CraftyCorn is depicted with a wide toothless grin with a voice box inside the black mouth and she possesses a black zipper line running down her center, with the zipper sporting a five-petaled rainbow flower pendant. She also emits a jasmine scent from the little spray applicator in her mouth.A conscious observer of both color and creativity in the world. CraftyCorn understands the importance of art, and sharing it with others. Crayons, pencils, paint, or words on the page, CraftyCorn can see beauty in anything imagined given shape.The artist of the group, CraftyCorn can be a little shy and awkward when talking to others-it's in her art that she truly expresses herself! She's all about creativity and seeing the beauty in ordinary things.CraftyCorn was created as a member of the Smiling Critters toy-line. Soon after, miniature versions of her were created, along with a Bigger Body version to work in Playcare. Sometime after The Hour of Joy, the Bigger Bodies version of CraftyCorn died of unknown means, presumably killed by CatNap or by another ally of the Prototype, as DogDay refers to himself as the “last” of the Smiling Critters.A miniature CraftyCorn appears as a hostile plush toy in Chapter 3: Deep Sleep. CraftyCorn, along with the rest of the Ruined Smiling Critters, chase The Player in the Playhouse. Using the GrabPack 2.0's orange hand, The Player has to shoot a flare at her to scare her away. If CraftyCorn gets too close, she jumpscares them by lunging at their face. Later on, several versions of her crawl inside of DogDay's exposed torso wound to control him and chase after The Player.A miniature CraftyCorn, known as Odd Ed, is amongst the toys in Safe Haven.

Giblet

Sometime during or after the The Hour of Joy, Giblet had a few survivors in captivity. Bobby BearHug urged him to kill them. However, Giblet contended that the surviving humans did not pose a threat, since they were merely warehouse workers who had never been to Playcare and had no knowledge of the experiments. Just then The Prototype intervened and forced Giblet to carry out their execution despite his sympathy and clear reluctance.Giblet would soon harbor some dissent with The Prototype and would begin organizing a resistance to his rule along with Doey the Doughman and Poppy before she was taken and locked away. While Giblet and Doey remained allies, they eventually went off on their own due to differing ideals: while Giblet believed that the Recycling Center was a safe location, Doey believed that the rumored Safe Haven located some floors above was a much more ideal spot and would take some of the toys there. Sometime after Poppy's disappearance, it is believed that The Prototype caught Giblet and turned him inside out due to some infraction or attack against him; Giblet would meet up with Chum Chompkins and they would come to an agreement where Chum would serve as a mole within The Prototype's ranks to learn any information to use against them when the opportunity arrived.

Cat-Bee

Cat-Bee is a cat and honeybee hybrid, as her name suggests. She has yellow fur with black stripes and a pair of translucent wings. Two black antennae sprout between her pointed ears. Her head consists of thin black eyebrows, black eyes framed by long lashes, a white muzzle, a small black nose, two black stripes in line with her antennae, and one on each cheek. She has a relatively tiny mouth with a small pink tongue. She also sports a white scruff on her chest and a stubby tail ringed with black and yellow. Her four feet also have white, heart-shaped paw pads and three toes.Cat-Bee's specific personality is unknown. However, based on her audio lines, it can be presumed she is an extremely sunny and cheery individual who loves having fun and wants others to have fun as well.Cat-Bee was first created by Playtime Co. between the late 1980s and early 1990s. She was a part of the Swap-imals and Kitty Cat Collection toy sets. Experiment versions of her were later created.Multiple Cat-Bee toys are seen scattered around the factory. Cat-Bee later makes her official appearance as the toy required to be created by the Player in the Make-A-Friend machine in order to leave the room, just before the vent chase.Cat-Bee does not make a physical appearance in this chapter, rather, appearing in the form of various cutouts throughout the course of the game. One particularly creepy line in her talking cutout is that she tells The Player they 'need to get out of here', but then giggles and says she's 'just kidding' and tells them to 'go have fun'.

Kissy Missy

In 1995, the experiment form of Kissy was recommended to a work position in Playcare. However, the day of her scheduled relocation was the day The Hour of Joy began, which she briefly participated in presumably out of anxiety and self-defense. Following the massacre, Kissy remained in the abandoned factory for years, briefly becoming acquainted with the Safe Haven's inhabitants before wandering the factory. In 2005, she crossed paths with The Player, eventually forming an alliance with them and Poppy Playtime to kill The Prototype and end his despotic reign.Kissy Missy's appearance is very similar to Huggy Wuggy. Like Huggy, she is a tall, slender creature with thick wool, but she is pink instead of Huggy's signature blue. Her features, such as her blue bow, yellow hands and feet, and eyes are similar to Huggy's except for her eyelashes.After suffering several wounds from a yet unidentified attacker at the end of Chapter 3, the right side of Kissy's face and body suffered severe injuries that resemble burns along with several deep slashes to her body with her right arm being kept in a makeshift sling. At the end of Chapter 4, Kissy loses her right arm after grabbing the Player in an attempt to save them from falling into a large pit.Aside from the Bigger Bodies version, there are also miniature versions of Kissy Missy residing in the Safe Haven. They are all killed when the Safe Haven is destroyed.Little is known about Kissy Missy, but through gathered information, it is revealed that she was made in 1985, one year after Huggy Wuggy was created. Huggy had skyrocketed in popularity, and so Playtime Co. seized the opportunity to create a feminine counterpart to further boost their profits.[5] (This was and still is a common trope in almost every industry to date. PJ Pug-a-Pillar

PJ Pug-a-Pillar was originally released as part of the Swap-imals toy series. In November 1990, a Bigger Body form of him, referred to as Experiment 1174, was created for the Statues mini-game at the Game Station. Thanks to lots of conditioning, he was deemed a great success by Harley Sawyer, and later even began bonding with Mommy Long Legs. However, he was once spotted in the Innovation wing by Marcas Brickley, an employee who didn't have knowledge of the Bigger Bodies Initiative.A mini PJ Pug-a-Pillar experiment was once created, numbered as 1398. After analysis by two scientists, he was sent to the Secondary Lab due to reduced cognitive functionalityAs The Player watches the Statues Tutorial, PJ reveals himself in preparation to hunt them down during the game. Once Statues begins, The Player runs for their life, following the rules of the game while PJ follows behind. Eventually, they find a way to escape from the area due to the game's ending being rigged by Mommy Long Legs, but unlike the antagonists of the previous Game Station mini-games, Mommy chooses not to kill PJ, and he continues to roam the factory.PJ Pug-a-Pillar will follow The Player during the entire ordeal of Statues, moving even when the lights are on. If PJ reaches The Player, he will jumpscare and kill them, resetting the game. This will also happen if The Player moves or fires their GrabPack while the lights are on. However, PJ will not kill The Player if they swing while hanging on to the rings or are simply looking around the room.PJ moves in tandem with The Player, so as they are nearing the end of Statues, PJ will go by a specific speed to catch up to them. PJ speeds up immensely once the player fails. The only way to escape from PJ (since the exit is blocked off by debris) is by grappling upwards to a window, shatter it, and enter the room, where The Player must drop into a hole in the floor.

Hoppy Hopscotch

Hoppy Hopscotch is an anthropomorphic lime green rabbit with black eyes, a black nose, and long ears, as well as a green cotton tail. Her paws are green, similar to the rounded T-shape design in the inside of her ears. Like the other Smiling Critters, she is depicted with a wide toothless grin with a small gray air tube stuck inside her, and she possesses a black zipper line running down her center, with the zipper sporting a gold lightning pendant. Hoppy also emits a peppermint scent from the little spray applicator in her mouth.Unafraid to hop where others might sit, Hoppy is the friend everyone needs to maintain their energy and enthusiasm. While sometimes loud or impatient, she'll always hop beside her friends, even if it means slowing up once in a while to keep their pace.Hoppy Hopscotch is an energetic and enthusiastic rabbit, which is represented by her lightning bolt pendant. She is particularly fond of outdoor sports, specifically soccer as shown in the intro to the Smiling Critters Cartoon, in which she kicks a soccer ball while she is atop a rainbow. She is also described as sometimes being loud, bossy, and impatient especially when it comes to Player hopping to the moon with her. Despite this, Hoppy also demonstrates eagerness to help others and slow down accordingly as proven by both her character description and her cutout dialogue.In the Smiling Critters Cartoon, like the other Smiling Critters, Hoppy showcased an unnerving and maniacal personality when CatNap came to DogDay's house during her sleepover. Her retained excitability was shown when she chanted, "Sleep! Sleep! Sleep!" to CatNap, encouraging him to use his abilities to overcome her fear-induced insomnia. When CatNap complied, Hoppy showed signs of euphoria when inhaling the Red Smoke, laughing hysterically with the others until she passed out. The Bigger Body version of Hoppy is shown to be concerning of her allies, as she brought back an injured toy to be treated when they were ambushed.

Candy Cat is a pale sky blue cat with pale cerulean dot eyes, tiny, pointed ears of matching color, a matching nose and pair of droplet markings on her cheeks resembling whiskers, a short round torso with a splash of pale cerulean, four stubby legs with white paws, and a long tail with a rounded tip. Her snout is white with a matching triangular patch of fur above it. Her most prominent feature is her long, exaggerated tongue, which is always seen lolling out of her mouth. Her cartoon counterpart has black dot eyes and a friendly grin. Her tongue is also more elongated and hangs more out of her mouth.Candy Cat always marches to the beat of her own drums. True to her 1970s release date, Candy Cat is a free-spirited icon and is a favorite amongst children who have been known to indulge in sweets.Candy Cat's specific personality is implied to be a bright, bubbly and sunny individual who is free-spirited and lively, in relation to her Digital Collectible Profile. Based on her cardboard cutout voice lines, it can be inferred that she might be a greedy and gluttonous individual who would only like to eat candy. However, based on her name - Candy Cat - it seems even her gluttony has its limits; when fed too many times, she begins to beg The Player for them to stop "feeding" her.Candy Cat was created in 1979 by Playtime Co. She was created with the intention of being a unique individual to keep up with the new decade, as seen on her Digital Collectible Profile and in the Orientation Notebook.An orphan girl named Makayla Hyssop was assigned to become a Candy Cat experiment whilst she participated in the Game Station activities.A cardboard cutout of Candy Cat is seen along the pathway taken out of Wack-a-Wuggy. In the dialogue, Candy Cat says to click her button to feed her, and after three feedings, she tells The Player to not feed her any more candy. But if they clicked the button more times after this warning, Candy Cat would tell them to stop.

Bubba Bubbaphant is an anthropomorphic cerulean elephant with black eyes, a S-shaped trunk, a long tail with a bulb-shaped end, and large ears. His feet, hands, and tail end, as well as the inside of his trunk and ears, are blue. Similar to the other Smiling Critters, Bubba is depicted with a wide toothless grin (the inner mouth shrouded in darkness), and he possesses a zipper line running down his center, with the zipper sporting a yellow light bulb pendant with a blue Edison screw base. Bubba also emits a lemongrass scent from the little spray applicator in his mouth.Bubba Bubbaphant is the brains of the critters. Bright and attentive, he keeps his friends steady and always steers them to make smart choices, that way they all might grow up to be bright and brilliant, each in their own right.Bubba Bubbaphant was created as a member of the Smiling Critters toy-line. Soon after, miniature versions of him were created, along with a Bigger Body version to work in Playcare. Experiment 1166, his Bigger Bodies Initiative experiment title, is inhabited by Quinn Navidson, a young orphan who was manipulated by Dr. Harley Sawyer, a.k.a. The Doctor, so that he would put in more effort at the Game Station tests, with this plan being successful. Shortly after these revelations, a cinematic trailer showcasing Yarnaby for the first time was released to the public.In the 1970s, Playtime Co. participated in a wildlife conservation campaign, a decision likely made by Elliot Ludwig. To raise awareness and support for the campaign, Playtime created and released the Yarnaby toy to the public. Although Yarnaby was initially intended to only be available for the duration of the campaign, he amassed so much popularity that Playtime Co. added him to their main roster of toys and continued to sell him years after the wildlife conservation campaign had concluded.One of the toy’s re-releases took place in 1990, with Yarnaby even starring in his own commercial this time around.He was described in his Prisoner Profile to be noticeably docile and impressionable, not violently attacking any of the scientists. He was noted to exhibit obedient and loyal behavior toward certain scientists, including Harley Sawyer, who took advantage of this to befriend and make Yarnaby psychologically dependent on him. Following Sawyer's disappearance, Yarnaby fell into a state of grief and desperation for his owner up until The Hour of Joy, during or after which the two were reunited and Yarnaby became one of Sawyer's many followers.Quinn Navidson, an orphan living in Playcare, gained notoriety among the counselors for his abnormal behavior and mediocre performances at the Game Station. This behavior soon attracted the eye of Dr. Harley Sawyer. Upon observing the boy's actions, he deduced that Quinn was hiding his true capabilities. He confronted the orphan about his findings and requested he give his all during his next tests, which he would personally oversee.

CatNap

CatNap's toy form is an anthropomorphic purple-furred cat with black eyes, triangular ears, a black nose, and a very long tail. His paws are a darker shade of purple, similar to the insides of his ears. Just like the other Smiling Critters, CatNap is depicted with a wide, toothless smile with a small gray air tube sewn inside. His torso possesses a zipper line running down that entire segment of his body, with the zipper sporting a yellow crescent moon pendant.CatNap’s cartoon/artwork appearance is roughly the same as his toy appearance, albeit with his zipper line removed, the addition of white pupils, and the zipper pendant now attached to a black necklace. He was also supposed to emit a lavender scent from the little spray applicator in his mouth, but ended up expelling the Red Smoke instead, giving children horrendous nightmares.The Bigger Bodies CatNap resembles a feline creature cloaked in purple fur. His eyes showcase black pupils encircled by white irises and a cat-like nose. His mouth remains open at all times, devoid of discernible teeth, forming an abyss-like void. The paws bear four digits, each armed with sharp, black claws, and extremely elongated limbs that seem loosely stitched at the joints. The disproportionately small, emaciated torso exposes the rib cage, pelvic bone and spine beneath the skin. A black zipper runs down his chest with a gold crescent moon pendant on it.In his hallucination form, CatNap takes on a more haunting presence, with a sickly gray complexion. This skeletal version of him portrays a significant increase in his skeletal features. His legs resemble mere bare bones, lacking any semblance of flesh or fur. The paws, in particular, are completely skeletal with elongated bone-like fingers. The most dramatic part of the transformation can be seen in his mouth, which has elongated to an alarming extent, surpassing the length of his torso.

KickinChicken

KickinChicken is an anthropomorphic chicken with yellow feathers, four-digit wings, black eyes, a half-moon-shaped upper beak, and a three-feathered crown extending down the right side of his face. His feet and upper beak have an orange color. Similar to the other Smiling Critters, KickinChicken is depicted with a wide toothless grin (the inner mouth shrouded in darkness), and he possesses a black zipper line running down his chest and belly, with the zipper sporting an orange colored star pendant. He also emits a ylang-ylang scent from the little spray applicator in his mouth.KickinChicken's cartoon appearance is roughly the same as his toy appearance, albeit with his zipper line removed, the addition of white pupils, and the zipper pendant attached to a black necklace.This is KickinChicken, the cool kid of the crew, and he maintains that sense of cool through anything, even in the most tense of situations. Knock him down, and he'll pick himself up, brush himself off,KickenChicken is all about having fun and being active. He's a skilled skateboarder and a very cool customer, but underneath that hip exterior, he scares easily! He faces down his fears with the help of his friends.Entering the Playhouse, The Player would be chased by hostile KickinChicken plushies, along with the other Ruined Smiling Critters. Using the GrabPack 2.0's Flare Hand, The Player shoots flares at him to scare him away. (If KickinChicken gets too close, he jumpscares them by lunging at their face.) Later, several versions of him and the other plushies crawl inside DogDay's exposed torso wound, eat away at his insides, take control of him, and chase after The Player.

Cassie Cutie-Pilla

Cassie Cutie-Pillar was an early concept antagonist for the Statues minigame, before being replaced by PJ Pug-a-Pillar. She is featured in "10 LOST SECRETS in Poppy Playtime Chapter 2". Micah Preciado described her as "cute", but she was scrapped for unknown reasons.

Boxy Boo

Boxy Boo is a vibrant, colorful jack-in-the-box toy. The main body is a light blue square box with golden shapes adorning each side: a star on the front, a heart on the back, and two side lids with a single circle each. There is also a wind-up crank just above the right-side lid. The arms pop out of the side lids, the legs pop out of the bottom of the box, and his head pops out of the top, which has a red lid with a yellow underside attached to the back edge.His head is cubical, the fur on his hands, head, and feet is red, and his eyes are big and dilated, just like Huggy Wuggy's. He has claws on his feet and hands and has curved sharpened teeth. His limbs are made of dark red metallic springs, allowing them to stretch far out. His hands are unusually structured, possessing two fingers on either side and two more on top, and his feet are rectangular with three toe claws on each foot.As a 2D cartoon render, he only has one visible tooth, but as confirmed on the construction render, he does indeed have a full set of teeth, including another fang on the other side of his mouth. He is also usually depicted with a tuft of hair on top of his head in the 2D art.Boxy Boo, as a toy character, is portrayed as joyful and energetic but somewhat clumsy, as shown in his various cut-outs. He seems to dislike tasks that require a lot of physical effort, especially when he has to do them alone, and he becomes easily worn out by such activities. In the Orientation Notebook, he is described as a troublemaker, hinting at a mischievous side to his playful nature. Drawing from this architype, as a Bigger Bodies monster, he is gluttonous and violent, capable of eating people in one fell swoop or even just segments of their bodies. While he has a hunger for food, he also displays some patience, playing the long game by hiding in his box and attacking when least expected.

Poe

Poe is an anthropomorphic raven, characterized by a violet indigo plumage that complements their thin eyebrows and expressive black eyes, which (like the other Nightmare Critters) are furrowed into a permanent glare. Their features extend to a dark purple beak, belly, and hindlimbs. In line with the other Nightmare Critters (and the Smiling Critters), Poe sports a perpetual wide toothless grin, their inner mouth shrouded in mysterious darkness. A black necklace gracefully adorns their center, showcasing a captivating thundercloud pendant with a yellow lightning bolt emerging from the bottom. They also have feathers protruding from the back of their head, in addition to two feathers at the front forming a little short feather cut. Poe also emits a cinnamon scent from the little spray applicator in their mouth. Poe hates the sun, and thinks it is a cruel trick of nature that the world needs it in the first place. Most comfortable in the dark, they spend their nights hanging around graveyards, listening to music, and feeling vaguely angry at nothing in particular. They insist it isn't a phase.

Touille

Touille is an anthropomorphic rat, characterized by musty gray fur that complements his thin eyebrows and expressive black eyes, which (like the other Nightmare Critters) are furrowed into a permanent glare. His features extend to a light silver outer mouth and belly, while a touch of salmon pink graces his nose, tail, and the inside of his circular-shaped ears. (His left ear is slightly torn.) His hands and feet are a darker shade of gray. In line with the other Nightmare Critters (and the Smiling Critters), Touille sports a perpetual wide grin with a darkened inner mouth but possesses two front incisors. A black necklace gracefully adorns his center, showcasing a captivating sea-blue fish bone pendant. Touille also emits the scent of petrichor from the little spray applicator in his mouth. Touille (it's pronounced two-ee!) is a self proclaimed "Trash Rodent". When he's not busy eating and collecting garbage, he's a lively conversationalist. He talks a lot, which is made all the more surprising by him having shockingly little to say. If you ever need someone to provide "insightful" commentary or some random piece of junk, Touille is your guy.

Simon Smoke

Simon Smoke is an anthropomorphic dragon, characterized by light vermilion scales that complement his long reptilian tail, thin eyebrows, and expressive black eyes, which have triangular eyelashes and (like the other Nightmare Critters) are furrowed into a permanent glare. His features extend to white wing membranes, an underbelly, and ears (the insides of which are white), while a touch of crimson red graces his talons, mane, and wing bones. He houses yellow tail spikes and two curved horns, and he wears a yellow rectangular earring on his left ear. In line with the other Nightmare Critters (and the Smiling Critters), Simon sports a perpetual wide grin with a darkened inner mouth but possesses four white fangs on either side of his mouth. A black necklace gracefully adorns his center, showcasing a captivating yellow dollar sign pendant. Simon also emits the scent of wood smoke from the little spray applicator in his mouth.

Allister Gator

Allister Gator is an anthropomorphic alligator, characterized by chartreuse scales that complement his long reptilian tail and expressive black eyes, which (like the other Nightmare Critters) are furrowed into a permanent glare. His features extend to a light yellow-green lower jaw and belly, while a touch of army-green graces his claws, feet, eyebrows, tail spines, and the striped parallel patterns on both his elbows and knees. In line with the other Nightmare Critters (and the Smiling Critters), Allister sports a perpetual wide grin with a darkened inner mouth but possesses alligator teeth. Allister also emits a sandalwood scent from the little spray applicator in his mouth.Allister's an all-around lazy guy. He's chill, sure, but if he could, he'd spend ALL DAY in the water doing pretty much nothing. He isn't a fan of the whole "put in effort and see that effort rewarded" bit. He's much more a believer of the philosophy: "Good things have to come to me... Eventually. I just need to wait around for it". (He's STILL waiting).

Icky Licky

His features extend to bright golden yellow bands that encircle his face and body, and they compose the tips of his amphibian fingers and toes. In line with the other Nightmare Critters (and the Smiling Critters), Icky sports a perpetual wide toothless grin, his inner mouth shrouded in mysterious darkness. A silver zipper line gracefully adorns his center, with the zipper sporting a black biohazard sign pendant encapsulated in a thick red outline. Icky also emits the scent of coffee from the little spray applicator in his mouth.Icky Licky's cartoon appearance is roughly the same as his toy appearance, albeit with his zipper line removed, the addition of white pupils, and the zipper pendant now attached to a black necklace.

Maggie Mako

Maggie also emits the scent of chocolate from the little spray applicator in her mouth.Maggie is always thinking about her belly. She's happiest with food in her mouth, and believe us, she's NOT picky. She LOVES sweets, but veggies? Yuck. Don't be surprised if she takes your "health eating habits" advice with a dabble of sugar, some chocolate syrup, whipped cream and a big cherry on top, all while laughing at you profusely.
