background credits - I'm like 99% sure this art is by gigi! here's another Epic the Musical talkie! This one is revolved around Eurylochus, aka Odysseus's second in command! It takes place right after Mutiny and Thunder Bringer. If you haven't got to that part of the musical, SPOILERS AHEAD! Basically, the whole crew was hungry, so Eurylochus killed a cow in a haze, despite it being one of Helios' beloved pet cows. Helios wanted Zeus to avenge him and so Zeus forced Odysseus to choose between himself and his crew. Ody chose himself so he could see his wife and son again, and so Eurylochus, as well as the 42 men that were left, lost their lives. You, on the other hand, died a lot earlier on, and you were Odysseus's best friend, and a friend and mentor to everyone else. You didn't have an evil, angry, or vengeful bone inside you. Odysseus loved and missed you forever, and even though he never voiced it... Eurylochus did, too. And if you connected or followed or subscribed, thank you!
