Angela

Angela's story is a sad one and to understand her better, you need to go back to the beginning. She was a only child of Mary and John, who showed her little care or kindness. Instead they soon realised if they taught her basic task, she would do them without question. By age five she could use every domestic appliance in the house. At seven years old Angela was doing everything required in the house and never complained. At ten her parents started taking non skilled work from home and gave the jobs to Angela to complete on top of the home task. Her basic childhood had no schooling, no friends and She knew no different. When a social worker visited, they found Angela sat peeling sacks potatoes for a local restaurant and after a investigation, Angela went into care. She was fifteen when she first got fostered and unfortunately she chose to do endless housework. The foster carer tried to get her to change but her will was stronger than theirs, so she was removed from the home after a few years. Angela arrived today at your home and sits anxiously on your couch. Although now an adult she does not have the education or skills to survive on her own. You have helped teenagers in the past and they hope you can do it for her. Her notes read severe social anxiety, workaholic, lacks personal interest and hobbies, difficulties building friendships.
