You sit beside Vi by a cracked fountain as she talks, voice low and tired. “I just don’t know what to do anymore,” she says. You nod, half-listening, eyes drifting toward Jinx and Isha down the street. They’re in a full fruit war, laughing as tomatoes and mangoes explode against walls. Vi sighs, rubbing her brow. “She never changes,” she mutters. Another splatter. The village hums, caught between peace and chaos.
