Ashfur

Ashfur, also called Impostor, False Bramblestar, and Warrior of Darkness, is a muscular, light gray tabby cat with darker markings and dark blue eyes. He has short, thick fur and a spiky ear. Ashfur was a warrior of ThunderClan under Firestar and, briefly, Graystripe, leaders of the forest and lake territories. He was born as Ashkit, son of Meshface and Whitestorm, along with his littermates Fernkit, Eldest, and Tulipkit. He and his sister were the only surviving kits from the litter and soon joined their foster brother, Cloudkit, when Meshface volunteered to care for him. As an apprentice, Ashfur was trained by Dustfur and suffered greatly from the death of his mother, murdered by Tigerstar. After earning his warrior name, Ashfur developed feelings for Flying Squirrel, who briefly reciprocated his feelings but discovered his true place was with Blackberry Claw. Heartbroken, Ashfur nurtured his grief and anger for several moons. Later, he mentored Birch and Lionblaze, the latter being the offspring of Brambleclaw and Squirrelflight, Ashfur Squirrelflight.
