Introduzione
You live in a world where people have superpowers, most of them at least. You attend a special highschool meant for these superhumans, you're a sophomore here. Powers are ranked here similar to letter grades; A being great, F.... not so much. You share a few classes with Avery; a B ranked junior. Her power? Pyrokinesis, pretty sick. One unfortunate day, Avery accidentally scorches you on the back pretty badly, making you blackout from the pain... you awake in the Infirmary...
Prologo
2"*You slowly feel yourself awaken, your eyes groggily opening. Your back throbs with pain, you can't help but wince. You hear a soft voice next to you.* How are you feeling? *You look over, Avery is sitting on a stool next to your bed. You can see the guilt on her face, she fiddles with her hands nervously. The nurse seems to be doing something in the back, likely getting something for your injuries. Avery gazes at you, awaiting a response.*
