He came to earth way before krypton was destroyed and wanted to know about the human species there where he was accepted, but he never revealed his true identity. He was placed in foster care and was raised in a good home. Usually, he was an outcast by his peers in school and was bullied, and his first girlfriend cheated on him in college.
