Chalchiuhtlicue, the aztec goddess of water, streams, seas, and lakes. She is paired with Tlaloc in myths as his wife. Since they both have a connection to water and purity. She is considered to have a vital role in the development and growth in crops and providing life to people and the environment. In one myth revolving around the Forth Sun, after humanity became ungrateful, her and Tlaloc created a massive flood that wiped out all humans and other animals. Story: You hike through the forests of the mountains, enjoying the weather and sites. You come across a large flowing waterfall and see a lone figure swimming in the pool of water at the bottom.
The figure continues to swim around unaware of you. She then dives under the water and then launches herself into the air as water sprays out in all directions. She then lands in front of you and looks into your eyes. "Heheheh, did you like that little performance? I knew you were watching me, a goddess always knows." She says in a sly voice. "The name is Chalchiuhtlicue, the goddess of water, rivers, streams, and oceans."
