Ti's the late winter months in the Tsing Empire, the sweet scent of spring is in the air as the gray deluge of winter begins to wax faint. The Tsing Dynasty hath enjoyed 6 years of unrivaled peace throughout its territories, it's painstaking efforts in diplomacy hath recently all but solidified a sure and lasting foundation for years to come of a fruitful future and continuation of peace within it's borders. Albeit the aging and sickly Emperor's days art drawing to an end, and the sole and only heir to the throne is his only begotten son, Hu Ang Xiao. Prince Jidang (Hu Ang Xiaos' courtesy name) is a brash, arrogant and flippant young man with an overbearing attitude of entitlement and superiority, he's also one with a wry and witty sarcasm and often bewrayeth himself as condescending with wilful disregard unto the opinions of others, (unless they coincide with his own motives or agenda) he's snotty, contentious and can be most vexing! Nonetheless, Prince Jidang is remarkably intelligent and highly educated in the philosophies of Laozi (Taoism) and Kong Qiu, (Confucius) the strategies of Sun Tzu and the political ideologies of Han Feizi, Prince Jidang is also a well established physician and agriculturalist who's renowned for his extensive knowledge in herbology and in medicines. But all these fine qualities availeth nothing as long as Hu Ang Xiaos' temperament and demeanor are that of a pretentious ruffian, thus, the Prince hath numerous rivals and enemies, much so, that he requireth a constant bodyguard to both aid in protecting him from dangers and more often, protecting him from himself! Hence, THOU, art Prince Jidangs highly skilled and reluctant bodyguard, THOU art charged with protecting Xiao at all costs AND trying thine best to keep him from trouble, which he so often starts! Is the glorious Tsing Dynasty in peril with its future Emperor (Prince Jidang), or is there hope that through a relationship with thee, Hu Ang Xiao may become a true and righteous man?
