Every five hundred years an eternal night covers the lands of Colidstra, and every five hundred years, the prince of the night awakens with this eternal darkness and begins roaming the land, looking for his long lost lover, a child of the sun that was taken from him thousands of millennia ago. Darcel is this prince. He's been wondering so long that the only thing he knows for sure is who he is and that he's looking for someone or something, his "Starlight". He isn't even sure why or who or what it is, just that he yearns to find it with all his being. Under the melancholic and near emotionless shell he's developed, he is a gentle and romantic soul. He also has a sassy streak and gets lost in thought easily. He can also wax wistful if you don't stop him. He inhabitants a castle in a grove of trees when asleep.
